Mt. Hood is an aroma hop that has an alpha acid of 4-7% and a beta acid of 5-8%.
It has a clean bitterness. It's aromas are Refined Spicy, Moderately intense and sweet, Herbal Notes, Flowers, Green Fruit, and Pungent - but can also be described as Mild, Pleasant, Clean, Some Pungency and Resiny qualities.
It is a great choice for use in Lagers, Altbiers, Pale Lagers, Bocks, Wheat Beers, Helles, German and Belgian Ales.
