Tettnang (German)


The German Version of Tettnang is an aroma hop, it has an alpha acid of 2.5-6% and a beta acid of 3-5%.

It has an aroma of a shifting and evolving mix of floral, fruity, herbal and spicy - fresh herbs, grass, dried flowers, citrus peel, black tea, and pepper.

It is recommended for use in German Lagers, Bavarian Styles, Weissbier, German Ales, Belgian Ales, Wheats, and Pilsners.

If you are looking for a substitute we recommend Czech Saaz, German Spalt, or Santiam.
