Sticklebract is a New Zealand grown dual purpose hop that has an alpha acid range of 12-15% and a beta acid of 6-8.5%. It was originally released as a high alpha bittering hop but through numerous brewering experiences has become known as a solid dual purpose hop choice.
It is characterized by citrus and pine flavors and aromas.
Sticklebract is a great choice for use in your Pale Ale, ESB, Stout, Porter, Lager, Pilsner or IPA.
You could possibly substitute Northern Brewer (GR), Hersbrucker, Hallertau (US), Sorachi Ace, or Simcoe®.
