Wurttemberg is typically a German grown aroma hop that has an alpha acid of 3-5% and a beta acid of 2-4% however, this is a US grown version of Wuerttemberg. It is not the same hop as Wuerttemberger which is another German grown hop varietal. You can distinguish the two by the USDA Cultivar/Brand ID of USDA 21682 for Wuerttemberger.
Often overshadowed by its sister Tettnanger the US grown version of Wurttemberg features notes of kaffir lime, floral tones, woody pine accentuated by oregano spice.
It is a great choice for use in Lagers.
