Columbia
Columbia is a dual purpose hop that is grown in the USA that has an Alpha Acid of 5-9% and a Beta Acid of 3-4%. It is the sister of Willamette and was originally developed by Budweiser.
It has a similar aroma to Chinook but it is not as strong. There is crisp pineapple as well as bright and pungent lemon-citrus notes.
It's a great choice for just about any Ale you can think of or throw at it.
If you are looking for a substitute we suggest Centennial (US), Centennial (BC), Chinook (US) or Chinook (BC).
