Merkur is a bittering hop that also is used as a dual purpose hop, that has an alpha acid of 12-14% and a beta acid fo 4.5-5.5%.
It has an aroma of Sugar, Pineapple, and Mint. It has high alpha bitterness.
It is recommended for use in Lagers, Pilsners, and Stouts.
