Sabro® (HBC 438)

Sabro® is an USA aroma hop that has an alpha acid range from 12 to 17% and a beta acid range of 4-7%. It can be used successfully as a flavor and aroma hop as well as in your whirlpool or dry hop additions. 

Sabro® was developed by Hop Breeding Company and sometimes seen as HBC 438. It was the result of a unique cross pollination of a female neomexicanus hop which devliers that classic profile combined with citrus!

It is complex and distinct with fruit and citrus aromas with a unique blend of tangerine, coconut, pineapple, peach, tropical and stone fruit flavors all underscored by hints of cedar and mint. It is strongly expressive and known for its complexity of these fruity and citrus notes  that feature a pronounced cream character with secondary notes of vanilla, cedar, dill and mint.

It is a great choice for use in IPAs, Pale Ales, Fruit Beers, Porters and Stouts.

It is available as a Cryo Hop also known as LupoMax which equates to it being made more concentrated as a Lupulin Powder/Pellet.

It plays well with Citra®, Mosaic® (HBC 369), Strata® (X-331), and Ekuanot®.
