Topaz is a dual purpose hop that has an alpha acid range from 13.7 to 17.7% and a beta acid range of 6.4-7.9%.
There are elements of clove-like spice and a light, lychee-esque fruitiness. When used as a dry hop it contributes resinous grassy tones. It has a fruity profile that really shines when it is used in higher gravity recipes.
It is a great choice for use in IPA, American Pale Ale, Bitter, and Amber Ales.
