Cascade

The US version of Cascade is an aroma hop although it has been also used as a dual purpose hop. It has an Alpha Acid of 4.5-9% and a Beta Acid of 4.8-7.5%.

It has a moderate bitterness and aromas of Fragrant, Flowery, Pleasant, Spicy, Citrusy, Grapefruit, and Pine.

It's a great choice for Highly Hopped West Coast Ales that have a citrus-floral hop character, Pale Ales, Blondes, Wheats, IPAs, Stouts, and Porters.

If you are looking for a substitute we recommend Amarillo, Centennial, and possibly Columbus.
